Revamped Karur District Bilingual Website

The newly improved Bi-lingual (English and Tamil) website of Karur district of Tamilnadu viz. https://karur.nic.in, based on S3WaaS (Secure, Scalable and Sugamya Website as A Service framework) became live on 28th May 2018. The revamped website, being the third in Tamilnadu State on S3WaaS framework, is based on a standard theme that is certified by STQC for accessibility compliance as per GIGW (Guidelines for Indian Government Websites), and hosted on NIC’s secure cloud.The district website was launched by the District Collector, Karur Mr. T. Anbalagan, I.A.S. The website has been developed on S3WaaS platform by NIC Karur, under the guidance of S3WaaS Team NIC, Head Quarters, New Delhi and NIC, Tamilnadu State Centre, Chennai.

The District Revenue Officer Shri. S. Surya Prakash, Spl. Dy. Collector (SSS), District Adi Dravidar Welfare Officer, District Informatics Officer Shri R. Kannan, Additional District Informatics Officer Shri. A. Mohan and other officials were present on this occasion.
