NIC S3WaaS awarded Gems of Digital India 2018

S3WaaS (Secure, Scalable, and Sugamya Website as a Service), was formally awarded on 13 June, 2018, at Delhi in a ceremony to recognize the 51 Gems of Digital India, 2018.

S3WaaS was chosen from an exhaustive listing of 1600 e-governance projects at the national as well as state levels, and  rated on 5 parameters related to the project Depth and Breadth (A Maximum Governance Framework).

The winners were felicitated in an awards function held at Hotel Shangri La, Delhi. A case study that documents the success of each of the 51 Gems of Digital India was also launched in the form of a book at the awards function in 2018. The launch function was attended by the S3WaaS team led by Smt.Alka Misra, Deputy Director General, and Sh.D.P. Misra, Technical Director, NIC – Delhi HQ.
