Revamped website for Tirunelveli District
Tirunelveli District Collector Smt. Shilpa Prabhakar Satish IAS on 06-07-2018 launched the revamped district web site, developed by National Informatics Centre, with user friendly features. Ms. Shilpa said the district web site https://tirunelveli.nic.in(https://tirunelveli.nic.in/) has been revamped in the best possible fashion with user friendly features, especially the characteristics that make browsing easier for differently abled citizens, for e.g., even persons with different levels of visual challenges can access content comfortably by increasing font size of letters, changing contrast, or using assistive technologies like screen readers to navigate the content with ease. The bilingual web site in English and Tamil will provide all information pertaining to the district in a lucid manner and being responsive, can be browsed with equal ease on desktops, laptops, mobile phones, ipads and tablets.
